The Skinner family read about Thomas Sullivan and reached out to Springfield to contribute to the park named in his honor. SPRINGFIELD -- Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno and the family of the late Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Thomas Sullivan on Tuesday traveled to Connecticut to visit the company that is donating a $17,000 hand-crafted gazebo that will go in a park named in Sullivan's memory. Sarno presented Everett Skinner III, Chris Skinner and Everett Skinner IV, the owners of Barn Yard and Great Country Garages in Ellington, Connecticut, with an official proclamation from the city thanking them for their contribution to the Gunnery Sgt.
